Stir-Fried Vegetables

A colorful mix of stir-fried vegetables with a simple soy sauce glaze.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds.

Add the broccoli, carrots, and bell pepper, and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp.

Mix the soy sauce and cornstarch in a small bowl. Pour it over the vegetables and stir until the sauce thickens.

Serve as a side dish or over rice.
